hi, if you're new here, I'm MxMaryMoon (she/they). I'm old enough to have gone by numerous names across the internet (I'm an elder millennial in my 40s), but this one feels pretty final. I'm a stay-at-home-parent to three children ranging from 11y to 3y, living in Northern Virginia. I'm a non-binary pansexual/queer (who leans femme) married to my non-binary partner of 11 years. We also have two cats.

I'm a bit of a FAFO witch who loves tarot and other divination. I'm pro-artist, pro-Palestine, anti-genAi, anti-facist, and more of a socialist than a liberal, even though I'm still trying to unlearn capitalism.

I'm a fiber artist with a focus on crochet and a dabbling in cross-stitch and embroidery. (check out the shop link in the nav bar to see some of my work)

I love to read (my current favored genres are romance and fantasy) and will devour books in days.

I grew up playing video games (Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura was part of my queer awakening) and have spent more years on than off playing World of Warcraft. In my 30s, I finally started getting into TTRPGs and have been able to play in a number of campaigns over the years, but I'm currently just in one set in a homebrew, long-established world with my partner and their friends.

I used to be really into finding and listening to new music (remember music blogs?? no? just me?), but haven't done that in forever. I'd really like to get back to it, though!

I'm sure there's more I could say about myself but I'm patently terrible at things like this, so I'll probably just add things here as I think of them. 🤷‍♀️
